First off, I would like to welcome you to AsKatKnits Studios, I have been knitting 8 years, and over those years, I have added in spinning and weaving to my craft repertoire.

I love natural fibers, especially wool.

I have taught knitting classes on a variety of topics; from beginning knitting, toe up socks, to intarsia.

I have also taken many classes over the years, and after taking a couple of dyeing classes from two incredible teachers, I put all my dyeing supplies away and merrily continued knitting, spinning, and weaving.

When I lost my job at the end of 2009, it seemed that it was time to try my hand at dyeing again this time with a focus creating beautiful hand-dyed yarns for sale. I hope that you find something here that you just cannot live without.
